Founded in 1964 for all those interested in art in Faringdon and The Vale, Faringdon Art Society (FAS) is run on a 'not for profit' basis and currently has over one hundred members.
The society welcomes anyone with an interest in art, whether two or three dimensional and whether they be a leisure artist, a professional, or just someone that enjoys seeing how artists create their work.

DROP IN DATES
September: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th.
October: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th.
November: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th.
December: 5th, 13th.
New Exhibition: There will be a gallery for artwork at the United Reform Church, High Street Highworth opening 11am Saturday 23rd September. Exhibitions will run throughout the year bimonthly. The first exhibition will be opened by Nick Gardiner the Town Mayor and FAS members David Gibbons, Scharlie Meeuws, Sue Ison and John Sirrelle with Arty Pumpkin will be exhibiting until September 30th from 10am to 4pm daily (except during church services).
There is to be no charge to Artists for showing their work and 10% of all sales will go to a nominated Charity, for the first Exhibition this is to be “Medecins sans Frontieres”.
